Q: Will this inspection let us know if the price of the home is worth what the seller is asking?
A: No! This inspection will tell you the condition of the home at the time it is inspected.
Q. Will the seller be responsible for fixing the things that the inspection shows as problems?
A. The seller owns the house, you can either ask him to fix the items or make a lower counter offer, or keep looking for another home.( ask your agent to add that clause)
Q. Do I really need to have the home inspected?
A. It is really a smart move to have it inspected, trained professionals know that sellers will sometimes try to hide problems from buyers.
Q. If we have the house inspected, do we pay for the inspection at closing?
A. No, the inspector should get paid when the inspection is complete, at that time
you will be given a full written detailed report.
Q. Why should we have you, as our inspector?
A. I' am a Honest man, I have to sleep at night, I have been the Victim of a bad
inspection myself..This is why, I now Inspect homes myself, I see the need.
